(dedicated to my sister Stormie who is now at The Bridge).
As some of you may know, Stormie very much liked to watch nature programmes, she particularly enjoyed wildlife documentaries, one of her favourites being David Attenborough's Greatest Wildlife Moments. The Meowmies put this DVD on the TV for her, along with March Of The Penguins, on the morning that Ben Vet came to our home to help her to The Bridge. Stormie seemed to enjoy having the films played because when Ben Vet arrived at our flat he even commented that Stormie seemed to be engrossed by the movies...on this particular occasion though she didn't have the strength in her to sit right in front of the TV like she does in the following clip, she watched from her cushion on the sofa.
In the clip below, filmed over a year ago, Stormie was watching a programme about climate change, but because it had polar bears in it, and other wildlife, she was mesmerised! I make an appearance towards the end...only to make sure I got some attention too, I have no interest in TV programmes at all. (Sorry 'bout the orientation, Meowmie used her crappy phone to film it with! and we don't have the right software to turn the film around).
Happy Meezer Monday!

She looked like she was really enjoying that! So great that you can remember her this way!
I'm like Stormie at times and love nature programs. This caused Mummy a bit of concern last year during Spring Watch, when I decided the baby Eagle looked very interesting and possibly quite tasty too! I watched him grow from a little bite sized chick to something that would keep me well fed for days... Mummy thinks I have something she calls "delusions" over what I could catch and eat! ;) Oh well I still love nature programs with birds in them! :)
Oh and I've tagged you for a nice meme about your name - I hope you enjoy it Castle! :)
Oh Castle,
Stormie certainly was a character wasn't she. She really was enjoying watching that show, and looked a bit irritated about being disturbed while watching it. I am glad she got to watch some of her favorite shows on her last day on earth.
We miss her too, although not near as much as you do. Sending you gentle headbutts.

Stormie sure liked to sit close to the TeeVee! She really was fascinated with that show.
Wow, Storm really liked the TV! She was so intent, until you came by - then it looked like she was more interested in you :-)
Stormie was really engrossed by her program :-D Our nature TV watcher here is Rascal.
That is very interesting that Stormie loved educational programs! We Ballicai enjoy your Meezer Mondays dedicated to your sweet sister. She will never be forgotten and will always be loved!
Thank you for celebrating my Gotcha Day with me! Thanks to wonderful friends like you, it was my best Gotcha Day yet.
Love and rumbly purrs from Brainball.
We love how she was watching the tv and kept turning around as if to say "what do you want - I'm watching this." And then she finally got irritated by the interruptions.
We love your Meezer Monday Memories.

Cool for Stormy. I am like you, I don't pay much attention to the talky box.

Castle, it was so wonderful watching that video! Stormie definitely was captivated by the television, but she also had to keep tabs on your Meowmie and you, and that was so sweet of her! Thank you for sharing this with us, because we love both the memories of Stormie and the presence of you!
Hugs, purrs and headbutts,
Sabrina, Sam and Simon
Castle, Do you really consider a butt and tail cameo an appearance? We barely got a glimpse of you, dude. But at least you showed up for the filming.
Castle was a beautiful cat. Even if we did have to tilt 90 degrees to see her. That was neat.
