Gotcha Day!

Hey everyone....!

Once again the wonderful ML has inspired us to update the blog - she reminded us that today is our Gotcha Day...by 'our' I mean me and Stormie The Furry Fighter of course - whom we still think of and miss every day. Funnily enough I had to go to the vet today and we saw her picture on the wall, still there, pride of place behind the reception desk. Ben Vet and Caroline Vet obviously loved her a lot too. Oh, Ben Vet now works at Cambridge University! He is such a clever vet! He only does a day or two a month at the vet practice now, so we haven't seen him for a long time. We miss him though.

So whilst I am here I will update you on Tigger - as you know our integration was fairly instant and successful - it was his distrust of humans that needed time and patience. Well he is properly settled now and jumps up on the sofa and bed to parade about in front of Meowmie, demanding strokes and attention. He is also good with visitors and doesn't hide anymore. He has really got his confidence now and seems totally at home. He is unlikely to be a lapcat but he does loves attention and fussing.

We also want to say thanks to Freya Cat, Sabrina, Sam and Simon, Lee County Clowder and Charlemagne and Tamar for popping by over the past few months! It has been lovely to read your messages.

So here are some recent pics of me and Tigger...two old boys that we are, we still run around and play and are great company for each other! We love a cuddle as much as like to wind each other up too!

Lots of Love from me, Tigger and Meomwie...xxx

Happy Birthday! We posted on Chey's facebook page a lovely photo of a Tiger's house that had quite ornate, rather royal trappings that said, "Stormy's House". We immediately thought of your dear Furry Fighter and took a photo.

We are glad you two are well and glad to hear from you as always-

Castle, we just wanted to check up on you and Tigger today, not knowing it was your's and Stormie's gotcha day, it was good vibes, wasn't it? We are sending you and Angel Stormie so many hugs and all of our love on this special day, and we are so, so happy that you and Tigger have each other and love each other so much, that makes us more happy than you can even imagine! We miss Stormie so much too, she is one of the reasons our Momma decided to get us a bloggy, and we miss Timmy too. We are sending you, Tigger, Angel Stormie, Angel Timmy and your Meomwie all of our love, hugs, purrs and headbutts ...

We are happy that you have a brother you get along with so well now :) We think you two and your Mom must be very happy.
Our big brother Mickey went to the Bridge in March. He no doubt found Storm and they are having fun.

Hi!

Happy Gotcha day Castle! You look very comfortable with Tigger. We also remember Stormie just like we remember Panther and miss them very much.

Do you remember we said that our cats TimTam, Mumble & Misu were moving with us to Australia? Well we are here now, and the cats arrived in the country just under a month ago. They have now been in quarantine for nearly seven months... BUT... this weekend they are free again as Australian citizens, and get to come and live with us again! We're looking forward to that a lot!

Hey, Castle, and welcome to Tigger. Glad you're still hanging in there.

Castle, are you losing weight? It might be just the photo, but your face looks thinner in these photos than they did in older images.

Remembering Stormy.
